I had a generally enjoyable stay at Maya's Native Garden Resort in Moal Boal, thanks to the beautiful garden and friendly staff. The food was tasty, especially the burrito, but I think they could improve the breakfast options and service speed during busy times. While my room was clean and spacious, I found the linens to be too thin for comfort, and a few maintenance issues were noticeable. Overall, it was a good experience with room for improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The cottages were spacious and well-maintained, but the sheets and pillows were too thin for my liking.
Service
7.0
Service was friendly, especially from Lita, but the attention level varied among staff, and I did feel some lack of promptness during busy hours.
Location

Maya's is set in a serene location with beautiful gardens, though access can be tricky due to inaccurate travel time information.
Dining

The food tasted great, especially the Mexican dishes, but I'd wish for a broader range of affordable options and quicker service during peak times.
Facilities
5.0
I appreciated the clean facilities and spacious room, but I missed having a pool and experienced some lighting issues.

I had a lovely time at Maya's Native Garden Resort, with friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. However, the lack of a pool and some issues with room amenities were noticeable. Overall, it was a rewarding experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a laid-back getaway.

I stayed in a fan cottage that was spacious and well-maintained, but the sheets and pillows were too thin for my comfort. The lighting was dim, making it feel a bit gloomy at times.
Service
7.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, accommodating my needs throughout my stay. However, they seemed overwhelmed during busy hours at the restaurant, causing delays in service.
Location

Maya's is conveniently located just a minute from the waterfront, with some small beach access nearby. However, there isn’t a great beach right at the resort, and there's no cashpoint nearby.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the food at the restaurant, finding it tasty and good value, especially the Mexican dishes. However, I found the options for seafood to be quite limited, which was surprising given the location.
Facilities
5.0
The resort has a nice palm garden and offers essential facilities, but the absence of a pool and some minor issues like dim lighting and a non-working safe in my room stood out.

I had a peaceful stay at Maya's Native Garden Resort, where I enjoyed the cozy eco cottage surrounded by beautiful gardens. While the food, especially the burritos, was a highlight, I found the room's lighting dim and some facilities needing improvement. Overall, it was a decent budget-friendly experience, though I might look for a more beachfront location next time.

Rooms
7.0
The eco cottage was spacious and clean, but the lighting could definitely use some improvement. The basic amenities were sufficient for a budget stay, yet I found the pillows a bit lacking in comfort.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, although I had to ask for room cleaning and towel changes specifically. I also faced some challenges with the car hire process, as the recommended rates were quite high.
Location
7.0
The resort is conveniently located near dive shops and restaurants, just a short walk from a small beach, but it lacks direct beachfront access. I appreciated how close it was to essentials.
Dining
8.0
The food was good, especially the burritos and fresh shakes, although some dishes felt a bit repetitive. The prices were higher than expected, so I’d recommend checking out nearby dining options as well.
Facilities
6.0
While the gardens were lovely, I encountered issues with the bathroom, like inconsistent hot water and a shower that needed a bit more care. The lack of in-room WiFi was also a minor inconvenience.

My stay at Maya's Native Garden Resort was refreshing and affordable, with cozy cottages and friendly staff. I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, although the restaurant prices were on the higher side for what was offered. The lack of a beachfront was a slight downside, but the nearby beach was a short walk away.

Rooms
7.0
I stayed in a spacious cottage that was clean and had a nice balcony overlooking the garden. While the bathroom was quite big, the shower pressure was low and the fan control was a hassle, requiring me to climb a chair to adjust it.
Service
7.0
The staff were super accommodating and friendly, always ready to help with transportation arrangements. However, I felt some of the car hire quotes were unreasonably high. They were helpful, but I had to be careful not to overpay.
Location
8.0
The resort's location was great, close to convenience stores and a few restaurants. Even though it wasn’t directly on the beach, I could easily walk to a small beach nearby, which was nice for some sunset viewing.
Dining
6.0
The food was generally tasty with some good options, like the burritos and fresh shakes, but I found most of the dishes a bit repetitive and slightly overpriced for the quality.
Facilities
6.0
The resort offered basic facilities, and I appreciated the availability of a laundry service. The ambiance was relaxed, though I would have liked some improvements in cleanliness, especially in the kitchen area.

I had a pleasant two-night stay at Maya's Native Garden Resort. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were accommodating, especially when they offered to heat my packed food. However, the food prices were a bit on the high side for my budget. Overall, it was a lovely place to unwind, though the disco noise at night was a minor drawback.

Rooms
7.0
The fan room was basic but clean, with slightly worn sheets and a spacious bathroom. It suited my needs perfectly.
Service
6.0
Staff were friendly, but the management's handling of overbooking issues could use improvement, causing frustration for some guests.
Location
8.0
Maya's is centrally located, just a short walk to the beach and nearby eateries. I found it convenient, especially for exploring the area.
Dining
6.0
While the food was nice, I found it a bit pricey for Filipino standards. The yogurt was particularly strange, though the coffee was strong and enjoyable.
Facilities
7.0
The resort offers basic amenities like room service. Wi-Fi was impressively fast, which was a plus.
